School News and Such
Well, I finally got my grades for the first summer school session. I earned an A in my statistics and probability class and an A- in my Asian American literature class. I am pretty excited about the results. This second summer session I am only taking one class, which is environmental studies. This course looks at the environment in the past and present and studies the social and cultural impact of the environment. My goal for this course is to get at least an A-, if not an A.
My weekend was pretty busy. Spent much of Saturday working on a paper for one of my other courses this second summer session (Comparative Literature - European Literature) which I ended up dropping, so that day was a waste. But Sunday I got a lot of reading and studying done for my environmental studies class and I went to Santa Barbara Art Museum with my girlfriend and her friend which was pretty interesting. The title of this exhibit is “Between Past and Future: New Photography and Video from China“. Some of the work was pretty gory and some very confusing, but overall it was nice to get away from the books for a while.
