Halfway Mark in the First Summer School Session
I have been quite busy with the first session of summer school. The third week of summer school has just ended and so far so good. I am taking probability and statistics and Asian American literature for a total of 9 units. I am doing fairly well in my statistics class; just the professor explains and teaches things more complex than they need to be. So far I have just been reading and learning from the book. I got an A on the first midterm and my second midterm for that class is this Thursday, so hopefully I can pull off another A. I just had my Asian American literature midterm last Wednesday and it wasn’t bad. I didn’t have enough time to write everything out and finish my essay completely, but the midterm is only 25% of the overall grade, so it’s not too much. Overall, my classes are going fairly well. My Asian American class requires a lot of reading. About 450 pages a week which is pretty intense, but I’ll manage. So far my goal this summer session is at an A in my statistics class and at least a B in my Asian American literature class. Of course, A’s in both classes would be nice, but I would rather focus on my math class than this general education class. Anyways, that’s all for now. Back to studying and reading…
